Poppy room is our 0-2 year old room and is designed to create a calm sensory experience for our babies. Every resource is within their reach and children are encouraged to explore freely with staff close by to support and extend their learning. 

 

Our Curriculum within this room focuses on children building confidence to try new things and gain much needed independence through sensory exploration. We offer lots of opportunities for children to challenge themselves and take calculated risks through our soft play, sand areas and vast sensory resources. 

 

Babies are welcomed into a warm and loving room by staff that treat children as their own and parents are always welcomed into the room should they wish. Staff role model language at every point of the day and ensure interactions are at a high level by being on the floor with babies at their level and extend learning by following the children's interests and guiding them through exploration.
